Ann is a textile artist creating mixed media artwork, using a variety of printing skills including screen printing, batik, and linocut. Her work is often multi-layered, textural, and embellished with stitch. Scarves, sketchbooks, and cards are among the smaller pieces she creates with her colourful designs.
She finds inspiration from places visited, both holidays and at home, with a particular interest in the textures and shapes which might go unnoticed both in the natural and manmade world.
Ann enjoys teaching workshops for the Embroiderers’ Guild Branch in Marlborough, as well as helping to run the branch and organise a lively programme of workshops and speakers.
